Impregnated by the practice of graffiti, which he began in 1990 in Rennes, Brez develops a painting that seems to use codes from cubism, constructivism or futurism. However, his graphic language is more certainly the heritage of the research of a letter style, a quest intimately related to the world of graffiti writing. Between abstraction and figuration, his In Situ paintings are inspired by the panorama while playing with the surface of the chosen places. The workshop work feeds on the forms inherited from graffiti and adapts to the limited frame of the canvas. He feeds again the painting in the public space in a permanent coming and going.

The bird and the fisherman , CHINA

Here is a wall we do with my friend Dino Voodo in China for “Back to school” event. We was invited by SETH for this program, we have to paint a wall in countryside in the middle of China, near from Zhumadian. So we do this two charachter’s for illustrate an old tales from south China, we called it “The bird and the fisherman”.

I was invited in 2017 by Le mur organisation with 30 other artists to paint three walls in Azureva, a Holidays village in Normandie.

“Barcelona” , Silkscreen

A 7 colors silkscreen product in 2017 called Barcelona, still avable now ! The story telling is my teenage son during this week. Discovering the city and spending a lot of time attracted by is cellular phone instead looking around him !
