Commande rรฉalisรฉe pour la ville de Fougรจres, la peinture รฉvoque la passรฉ industriel du site, qui a vu se succรฉder au siรจcle dernier les cristallerie Fougeraise puis des atelier de confection de chaussures. Il est dรฉsormais reconvertit en pole associatif.

Commissioned by the city of Fougรจres, the painting evokes the site’s industrial past, which saw the Fougeraise crystal factory followed by shoe manufacturing workshops in the last century. It has now been converted into a community centre.

Art Tak Festival

A l’invitation du festival Art Tak de Bergerac, peinture murale improvisรฉe au dernier moment.

Une composition compile tout les รฉlรฉments graphiques de la faรงade et รฉvoque les spรฉcialitรฉs viticoles du territoire.

At the invitation of the Art Tak festival in Bergerac, an improvised mural painted at the last minute.

A composition that brings together all the graphic elements of the faรงade and evokes the region’s wine-growing specialities.

Le Paon – Rennes 2022

Safari graffiti invite depuis 3 ans 26 graffiti writers ร  crรฉer un bestiaire gรฉant sur les murs de la ville de Rennes. Voici ma contribution : un Paon.

Prรฉvu il y a 2 ans sur un autre mur, ce volatile sโ€™est finalement parfaitement adaptรฉ ร  ce mur en forme de paravent. Merci ร  Cassandre pour lโ€™invitation.

Safari graffiti has been inviting 26 graffiti writers to create a giant bestiary on the walls of the city of Rennes for the last 3 years. Here is my contribution : a Peacock.

Planned 2 years ago on another wall, this bird finally adapted perfectly to this wall in the shape of a paravent. Thanks to Cassandre for the invitation.

Terres-Neuvas

Les terre-neuvas sont les pรชcheurs qui, du xvie siรจcle au xxe siรจcle, partaient chaque annรฉe des cรดtes europรฉennes pour pรชcher la morue sur les grands Bancs de Terre-Neuve, au large du Canada. Cette pรชche a pris fin ร  cause de la rarรฉfaction du poisson ร  la fin du xxe siรจcle due ร  la surpรชche.

Cette peinture, rรฉalisรฉe au dos du musรฉe des terres-neuvas de Saint-Malo, ร  l’occasion de la cinquiรจme biennale d’art urbain ร  Saint-Malo, รฉvoque cette pรชche qui fรปt longtemps l’une des ressources principales de ce port Breton.

The terre-neuvas were the fishermen who, from the 16th to the 20th century, set out each year from the European coasts to fish for cod on the large Banks of Newfoundland, off the Canadian coast. This fishery came to an end due to the scarcity of fish in the late 20th century as a consequence of overfishing.

This painting, made on the back of the Terre Neuvas Museum in Saint-Malo, on the occasion of the fifth urban art Biennial in Saint-Malo, evokes this fishing which was for a long time one of the main activities of this Breton port.

Festival d’Art Urbain : Banana Pshit 2024

Banana Pshit est un festival d’art urbain initiรฉ il y a 4 ans ร  Dijon par l’artiste RNST. Dรฉsormais, il est portรฉ par l’รฉquipe du M.U.R. et de Zutique Production.

L’รฉquipe organisatrice a fait appel ร  moi pour rรฉaliser le visuel de cette 4eme รฉdition. Elle m’a aussi invitรฉ ร  rรฉaliser une performance sur le parvis du musรฉe des Beaux arts de Dijon.

Banana Pshit is an urban art festival initiated 4 years ago in Dijon by the artist RNST. It’s supported by the M.U.R. team and Zutique Production.

I was asked by the organising team to create the visual for this 4th edition of Pshit. They also invited me to make an artwork on the forecourt of the Musรฉe des Beaux Arts in Dijon.

Ar gwez-nij

Ar gwez nij, littรฉralement les arbres volants en breton. Commande pour un espace commercial ร  Bain de Bretagne, je propose ici une image poรฉtique en anamorphose avec ce visage qui s’ouvre sur un paysage imaginaire. Que le visiteur s’y raconte sa propre histoire m’amuse forcement, moi j’ai la mienne et je la garde.

Ar gwez nij, literally flying trees in Breton. Commissioned for a commercial space in Bain de Bretagne, this is a poetic anamorphic image with a figure that opens onto an imaginary landscape. I’m quite happy for visitors to tell their own stories, I’ve got mine and I’m keeping it.

La violoncelliste

La violoncelliste, Acrylique, Pleurtuit 2024

Cette peinture a รฉtรฉ rรฉalisรฉe ร  lโ€™invitation de la municipalitรฉ de Pleurtuit en 2024 sur lโ€™enceinte dโ€™une รฉcole de musique. En gรฉnรฉral je m’inspire de l’environnement du mur mais ici j’avais peu d’รฉlรฉments remarquables dans le panorama. J’avais la contrainte d’un mur au format trรจs allongรฉ, jโ€™ai donc dรฉcidรฉ de reprรฉsenter cette violoncelliste enlaรงant son instrument. Cette image s’est construite naturellement sous la mine de mon criterium. J’ai le souvenir d’avoir essayรฉ cet instrument il y a trรจs longtemps. Lorsque lโ€™on y joue, la vibration qu’il transmet dans le corps est profonde et unique, c’est ร  mon avis une belle allรฉgorie de la musique. Jโ€™ai voulu faire rรฉfรฉrence ร  ce rapport sensuel ร  l’instrument, ce vibrato qui rรฉsonne au plus profond notre corps. Et il y a aussi la rรฉsonance de la mรฉlodie, ce fil indicible qui nous relit ร  nos souvenirs les plus intimes.

This painting was created at the invitation of the municipality of Pleurtuit in 2024 on the walls of a music school. I usually take my inspiration from the environment of the wall, but here I had few remarkable elements in the panorama. I was constrained by the very long format of the wall, so I decided to imagine this cellist embracing her instrument. This image came naturally under the lead of my criterium. I remember trying out this instrument a long time ago. When you play it, the vibration it transmits to your body is profound and unique, and I think it’s a beautiful allegory of music. I wanted to refer to this sensual relationship with the instrument, this vibrato that resonates in the deepest inside your bodies. And then there’s the resonance of the melody, that indescribable thread that connects us to our most intimate memories.
